As part of their commitment to keeping impaired drivers off the streets, Safe Ride home will be accepting calls Dec. 31 right up until 2 a.m.
As part of their commitment to providing travel for those out and about this holiday season, and to ensure that no one will be driving impaired, Safe Ride Home Sudbury will be operating on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31 between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. On New Year’s Eve, there will be no last call and the phones will be answered right up until 2 a.m.
Potential clients are reminded that they must have a pink liability slip or other legal evidence that their vehicle is insured in accordance with the laws of Ontario or they will not be provided with a ride. More volunteers for New Year’s Eve are still needed. Please consider joining Safe Ride Home Sudbury to help keep the community safe.
