Around 11:10 a.m., Central Saanich Police Service said officers and support units were called to the incident in the area of East Saanich and Hovey roads. A passerby in the area reached out to CHEK News saying five Central Saanich Police and one RCMP cruiser, along with a fire truck, were on scene., 7606 East Saanich Rd. is home to The Aurora, a newer 39-unit supportive housing apartment building with “services and supports for people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, in Central Saanich.”Central Saanich Police Service and support units are responding to an incident at 7606 East Saanich Road .
