The first debate among Democratic candidates for the 2020 U.S. presidential election was held on June 26, and featured 10 participants. The second debate with an additional 10 will be held on June 27.
The first group included New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey, Congressman Beto O'Rourke of Texas and Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. The second group includes former Vice President Joe Biden, South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Senator Kamala Harris is California and Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
