SYDNEY, N.S. — It was the beloved guitar he’d longed for before finally finding it and it was stolen overnight Saturday.

“The worst is I make my living as a musician. This is all I do to make money, to pay my bills and whatnot. And to have someone steal your tools, basically, they are stealing. So what do you do?” Lewis said. “There’s always going to be thieves but if you don’t leave them anything to steal, you’re helping them and you’re helping yourself,” Lewis said.

In 2012, Lewis was the musical director for a show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and performed as musician and background vocalist for Tommy Hunter, Rita MacNeil, The Von Trapp Family, Johnny Wright and Charlie Pride.
