According to Sport Tourism Canada, the potential economic spinoff from the event is expected to be around $6-8 million with local hotels and restaurants benefiting from the hundreds of people coming to the area.The overall attendance for the tournament was 45,602 - 1,194 fans shy of tying the attendance record for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sydney in 2019.
“This is the second time that we’ve had a major curling event and obviously the more you have them the more people get used to it. The next event, whenever or whatever that may be, people will have more familiarity with what’s involved with the entire event.”“We’ll have a post-mortem and there will be things we’ll all discuss and I’m sure there’s things we could have probably done better,” he said.
