Goaltenders Thomas Pigeon and Xavier Farrah as well as forwards Lane Lochead and Liam Travis were released. Port Hawkesbury defenceman Ryan Hayes also saw his camp come to an end.Pigeon, 18, was an 11th-round pick by the Eagles in 2021, while Farrah, 17, was a sixth-round pick by Cape Breton in 2021.
Lochead, 17, was a sixth-round pick by the Eagles in 2021, and Travis, 17, was picked by Cape Breton in the 12th-round in 2021. Hayes, 17, was acquired by the team during the offseason from the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
