The Mira Boat Club and Seniors Community Centre in Albert Bridge has been awarded $4,767 for the replacement of its sewage pump-out system. FILESYDNEY — The Mira Boat Club and Seniors Community Centre in Albert Bridge is set to receive facility upgrades thanks to a provincial cash injection.Cape Breton East MLA Brian Comer said he was very pleased that the government was able to offer this kind of support to local community hubs.
"Investments like this go a long way in helping keep our community facilities functional and in good repair now and into the future," he said. The Mira Boat Club & Seniors Community Centre is a non-profit organization that offers guests and members access to a range of social activities and boating services.This investment was made possible through the Community Recreation Capital Grant Program, an initiative that supports the development of small-scale recreation projects under $25,000.
