Canadians Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor surge to the top of the leaderboard at Workday Charity Open.
DUBLIN, Ohio – A pair of Canadians surged to the top of the leaderboard as the morning wave of the PGA Tour’s Workday Charity Open came to a close on Thursday.
Adam Hadwin of Abbotsford, B.C., led the way with a 6-under 66, while Nick Taylor, also of Abbotsford, was a shot back at 5 under. Taylor is playing in his first tournament on tour since the PGA restarted last month during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hadwin, who shot his eighth consecutive round in the 60s, is coming off a tie for fourth last week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit.
David Hearn of Brantford, Ont., shot a 1-under 71 on Thursday, while Roger Sloan of Merritt, B.C., also carded a 71.%2Fgolf%2Fcanadians-hadwin-taylor-lead-way-workday-charity-open%2F
