CPL finally has a foothold in the Lower Mainland, as the owners of Pacific FC were granted a second team, this one playing out of the LEC.
But the little City of Langford lured the CPL away from Vancouver, landing ownership of Pacific FC, who made the cosy confines of Starlight Stadium their home.

There are now plans for an 8,000 seat stadium that includes suites, and Friend is confident the township and team can have it constructed in time for kickoff in 2023.
