Canada has won twice in impressive fashion on Day 2 at the Canada Sevens tournament at B.C. Place.
The Canadians will play Ireland in the ninth-place final after a thrilling 26-22 win over Scotland. They beat Japan 29-5 earlier in the day as well.
Kenya came into the tournament up a dozen points on Canada and Wales, but will see all three climb closer after Kenya went winless on day two, taking home the bare minimum of points and the other three picking up points because they finished the weekend with better results. In their next match against Scotland, the Canadians fought back to win after falling behind 15-7 in the first half. A late try from Webster — his second of the opening half, both displays of his blazing speed — pulled Canada back to within a score.
