Jonathan Chan is among the recipients of Export Development Canada’s (EDC) 2023 youth education program scholarships.

A Burnaby student from the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business has been awarded a $5,000 scholarship in recognition of academic achievements and commitment to community service in Canada and abroad.

Chan is a fourth-year student specializing in accounting, organizationyouthal behaviour and human resources. In an emailed statement to the NOW, Chan said, the scholarship will allow him to continue to give back to the community through social entrepreneurship initiatives in Africa.
