WINDSOR, N.S. — For the third time since the 1970s, and the first time outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia will play host to the

Darrell Lyttle, the chairperson of the committee organizing the 2025 Canadian Senior Broomball Championships in West Hants, says he hopes Nova Scotians will come out in droves to watch the fast-paced, high-calibre games next April. Carole Morris-Underhill The Hants Bruins were the first team to represent the area at the Canadian Broomball Championships in 1980. They attended eight championships, winning the gold in 1983.While interest in broomball gradually petered off, Lyttle said it’s an exhilarating sport to watch or play and he’s hopeful for a resurgence.
