Bolivia’s electoral court sets election rerun for May 3: report
Bolivian ex-president Evo Morales, seen in November, waves upon landing in Mexico City, where he was granted asylum after his resignation. A rerun of Bolivia’s election has been set for Sunday, May 3, the president of the country’s Supreme Electoral Tribunal said on Friday.
Morales, who had been in power for nearly 14 years, resigned following the election dispute and fled to Mexico, and later Argentina. He later said he had been toppled in a coup.
