Guerrero Jr. belts his third homer in eight games in Triple-AAfter all the hype and all the waiting, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is finally heading to the major leagues.
Guerrero, who was not expected to be with the big club out of spring training, was sidelined by an oblique injury in early March and began the season in high-A Dunedin once he recovered. After four games, he was promoted to Triple-A Buffalo where he hit .367 with three home runs. Following the regular season, he played 19 games in the Arizona Fall League with the Surprise Saguaros, hitting .351 with 17 RBI.
