Dr. Eddy Lang is a professor at the University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine and a member of the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care. He is concerned that false positives on the Galleri test could send people into the public system for unnecessary scans, treatments and even surgeries, along with the anxiety that comes from such a result.
