In an interview with state police, the suspect reportedly told troopers he just wanted to feed the bobcat, but did not give any more information.

The man faces a slew of charges including burglary, aggravated cruelty to animals, theft, neglect of animals, and transporting animals in a cruel manner. He is free after posting $15,000 bail, court records show.

The farm’s attending vet advised keeping Blanche at the business since she had been through a traumatic experience and wasn’t showing any physical trauma.
