Woman Killed in Lake Ontario Drowning Was Helping Family Back HomeA 25-year-old woman from Albania, Agknesa Soukoulli, died after the car she was in plunged into Lake Ontario near Ashbridge's Bay Park on Sunday night. Soukoulli was studying English and working full-time in Toronto to support her family back in Albania. The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Kristjan Serraj of Oakville, has been charged with dangerous operation causing death. Her family is raising funds to bring her body back to Albania for burial.

Woman Killed in Lake Ontario Crash Remembered as Kind and CaringAgnesa Shukulli, a 25-year-old woman who died after a car drove into Lake Ontario, is being remembered by colleagues and friends as a warm, caring person. Shukulli, who immigrated to Canada from Albania in 2021, worked at Serrano Bakery in Toronto. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help bring her body back to her family in Albania.
