Belleville Senators move closer to an AHL playoff spot
It was a good news bad news night for the Belleville Senators. The bad news, they don’t play Laval again this season. The B-Sens won 9 of 12 against the Rocket this season including five in the Montreal suburb.
And that has put Belleville within one point of Laval and the last playoff spot in the AHL North Division with 15 games remaining, nine of which are on the road.Assistant Coach Ben Sexton says, “There were some good individual efforts, but what we were most impressed with was how we stuck together as a team. As a whole, we stuck together, we stuck up for each other and we played the right way.”
