Diwali is a major annual celebration in India celebrating the triumph of light over darkness and was first organized in Belleville 2 years ago through the city’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee led by councillor Sean Kelly.Packed floor at 2022 Belleville Diwali Festival at Belleville’s West Zwick’s Park.Meanwhile Belleville’s Waterfront and Multicultural Festival and Quinte West Hops on the Water were # 1 and 2 respectively in festival rankings for this part of the province.
