Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 63 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 28On December 28th, 2022, at 600am, Belleville Police were contacted regarding a Belleville city truck that was parked in a parking lot in the east end of Belleville.
It was learned that the truck had been reported stolen the day before. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male inside the vehicle. The male was arrested without incident. As a result, 25-year- old Dorean Geerstma of Belleville was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and 3 counts of failing to comply with his probation order.
