A group of beavers inadvertently saved the Czech government millions of dollars by constructing a dam, effectively completing a project that had stalled for seven years due to permit issues. Officials had planned to build a dam to address water issues in a protected area and had allocated 30 million crowns (approx. 1.2 million dollars) for the project.
