Dennis started working for Bluefin Restaurant in 2002 at 14 years old and later bought the restaurant in 2017. When the restaurant burnt down in spring 2020, Dennis and her husband Jordan launched Strait Goods to continue owning and operating a local Souris restaurant. Before being a restauranter, she worked in a small legal practice in Charlottetown and spent four years working in the premier’s office under Robert Ghiz.

“I look around at all my neighbours, and I see resilience. As the next MLA for Souris-Elmira, I want to reduce the pressures that our area is facing, such as access to healthcare and affordable housing,” said Dennis. It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
