Temperature drops, rain, and snow from a cold front originating in the Gulf of Alaska started pummeling Northern California on Friday, prompting highway closures and “winter weather advisories” in the middle of spring.Temperatures across the state are predicted to be 5 to 20 degrees lower than normal through Monday, the outlet noted.
