LAHORE - The participation of Bangladesh i cricketers in Pakistan Super League 10 has become uncertain . According to media reports, fast bowler Nahid Rana has formally submitted a request to the Bangladesh Cricket Board for a No Objection Certificate to play in PSL.
The board is considering his workload and Bangladesh’s upcoming series against Zimbabwe before making a decision. Peshawar Zalmi picked Nahid Rana in the PSL draft. Peshawar Zalmi’s last league match is scheduled for May 7, followed by the qualifiers and eliminators, with the final set for May 18. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on April 15, with the first Test match in Sylhet starting on April 20 and the second in Chattogram on April 28. Although the series is not part of the World Test Championship, the scheduling clash with PSL is making BCB’s decision more complex. The board is also deliberating whether Nahid Rana should be granted an NOC for the entire PSL season or just for a specific phase. So far, he has played only two out of five matches for the Abahani Cricket Team in the Dhaka Premier League as part of workload management..
