Pakistan hosts first-ever gems, jewellery show at HEMS 2025
LAHORE In a major highlight of the Health Engineering and Mineral Show , Pakistan unveiled its first-ever Gems and Jewellery Show, marking a milestone for the country’s luxury and design industries. Organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the Ministry of Commerce, the event showcased the nation’s rich heritage in gemstone mining and jewellery craftsmanship.
Held in Lahore, the show featured striking runway collaborations between leading jewellers and top fashion designers, including HSY, Munib Nawaz, Zonia Anwaar, and Nilofer Shahid. Models walked the ramp wearing statement creations by some of Pakistan’s most celebrated jewelry designers. The show featured B2B collaborations between jewelry brands and top fashion designers, including Waseem Jewellers with House of HSY, Almasjewelers with Munib Nawaz, Heritage Jewellers with Zonya Anwaar, Divine Jewellers with Blockestry, PIFD jewelry design and gemological science department with Lulusar, Angeline Art Line with textile 82, Sonica Jewellers with Kuki concept, and Gold by Reama Malik with Nilofer Shahid. The curated collections celebrated indigenous gems and traditional goldwork, reimagined for global markets. The event attracted international buyers, trade delegations, and fashion media, with show direction by Rizwan Beyg and styling by Ehtasham Ansari. Industry leaders hailed the event as a breakthrough for Pakistan’s underrepresented gems and jewellery sector, positioning the country as a rising player in the global luxury goods market.
