Bangladesh to tour Pakistan for three-match T20I series, confirms PCB
LAHORE The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that Bangladesh will tour Pakistan later this month for a three-match T20I series. The series, initially planned to include five matches, has been shortened following discussions between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Bangladesh Cricket Board President Farooq Ahmed.
All three matches will be held at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, with the revised window running from May 27 to June 5. The decision follows successful talks in Dubai, ending weeks of speculation surrounding the tour, which had been delayed due to security and logistical concerns. Bangladesh's first visit to Pakistan since their split tour in 2020 will mark a significant step in strengthening cricketing ties between the two nations. The series had faced uncertainty, but both boards have now finalised the details, with Bangladesh led by newly appointed T20I captain Litton Das. The official schedule for the three matches is expected to be announced soon, bringing much-needed clarity to the situation.
