The Writers’ Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador released its longlist of nominees for the two 2022 Newfoundland and Labrador Book Awards categories. UnsplashST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Writers’ Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador has released its longlist for the 2022 Newfoundland and Labrador Book Awards.
The awards are held annually by the alliance to recognize the excellence in writing by authors in the province. This year, awards will be given out in two categories, the Bruneau Family Children's/Young Adult Literature Award and the Fiction Award. The shortlist will be announced on Friday, Sept. 23, virtually and in person at the A.C. Hunter Public Library in St. John’s.
The Bruneau Family Children's/Young Adult Literature Award readings and winner announcement will take place on Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m. and the Fiction Award winner will be announced on Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
