Hines said they lost three key members of the exhibition team this year — Mike Jamieson, a sound technician who was heavily involved with the exhibition, and caretakers Eldon and Tracey Spencer. Wyatt Lake, of the Burlington Workers 4-H Club, fit some grooming in during the busy 4-H weekend at the Hants County Exhibition in 2017. Every year, 4-H members from across the region show their animals at the exhibition and compete in the ring. This year, 2022, marks the 100th anniversary of 4-H in Canada. - File“Both weekends we've got a full slate of musical entertainment,” she said, noting they’re calling it a Celebration of Live Music in memory of Jamieson.

Mad Science, an entertaining educational show, returns for the second weekend, taking place Sept. 24 and 25. The pet parade will take place on closing day, Sept. 25, at 10:30 a.m. Children under 12 are invited to bring their pet — whatever animal that may be — in a costume and join the parade. “If they wish to wear masks, they're welcome to do so. We're not suggesting masks. People can do as they wish.”
