Statistics Canada says women fill 19.4 per cent of the seats on corporate boards of directors across public, government and private organizations, but more than half of all boards were composed entirely of men.

Government business enterprises had the highest share of women on corporate boards at 28.8 per cent, followed by public corporations at 20.5 per cent, while private corporations had just 17.4 per cent.
