The City of Victoria plans to invest $8.3 million in Royal Athletic Park, with the balance going to a redesign of Centennial Square.
A $12.8-million grant from the province will help Victoria pay for improvements at Royal Athletic Park and the redesign of Centennial Square.
The balance of the grant from the B.C. Government’s Growing Communities Fund — $4.5 million — will go toward the $11.2-million redesign of Centennial Square.
