We are seeking a new member to join our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong communication with an innate desire to learn and grow.• Under the direction of the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Lead Hand, promotes the overall efficient, effective and safe deployment of services and equipment to ensure and to maintain accurate metering of customers’ consumption.• Coordinate the installation of recording instruments with other departments.• Respond to Customer Concerns regarding electrical and water metering inquires.Qualifications:• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in electrical environment, supplemented with a Municipal Electric Utilities Meter Technician Training certification.• Sound knowledge of electrical and water metering systems and the related components.• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and exercise sound judgement.• Ability to safely operate electronic and mechanical equipment.• Ability to be on call on a scheduled basis, and/or respond in reasonable time to after-hours emergency call outs.Resumes stating qualifications and experience will be accepted via email toWe are an equal opportunity employer and encourage diversity in our workplac
