Proud dad Dwyane Wade took to his Instagram Story Tuesday to post a photo of his daughter Zaya’s first magazine cover for Dazed’s latest issue.
The former Miami Heat player also shared a video to his Instagram showing Zaya’s first board meeting for the magazine issue.
Zaya, who is transgender, was granted a legal name and gender change by a Los Angeles county judge last month.The 15-year-old model told Dazed that her family is “such a giant support system” and that she feels “strongest when I’m with them.”“I think it’s not my job, but it’s my honor to continue and further my family’s education and appreciation for the entire LBGTQ+ community as we grow together,” she said.
