YouTube is trying to fight the deluge of misinformation on its platform by flashing up fact-checking information boxes when users search for topics"prone to misinformation,"A screenshot provided to BuzzFeed shows a panel that reads"Hoax alert! Paracetamol Tablets Do Not Contain 'Machupo' Virus.", a hoax started circulating in early 2017 that paracetamol contained the"Machupo" virus, also known as Bolivian hemorrhagic virus.
