Four young people are under arrest in Gatineau in connection with an early\u002Dmorning attack that left a 16\u002Dyear\u002Dold boy in serious but stable condition.

“His condition is serious, but stable,” said Gatineau police spokeswoman Andrée East. East added that the force is not yet identifying the weapon used in the attack. Searches in the surrounding area resulted in the arrests of a man and woman, both 18, as well as a boy and girl, both 17.Police continue their searches on Rue des Flandres and at a neaby second site in a commercial area on Boulevard de la Gappe.
