First, a stadium downtown limits parking . So many people attend baseball games at Nelson Wolff Memorial Stadium simply because they get free tickets from work, sponsors or friends. Any building of a stadium should be done with private money. Let the people who will benefit build and pay for the stadium. With our high property taxes, local officials need to cut spending.

Sadly, I fear our City Council and Bexar County commissioners will approve taxpayers’ money to foot the bill.
