Toronto police say a young person has died after an incident in Scarborough on Tuesday evening.

Toronto police are investigating after they were called to a Scarborough residential building for reports of a stabbing on Tuesday evening. The incident has drawn a heavy police presence.Police were called to an apartment building in the area of Dundalk Drive and Antrim Crescent, near Kennedy Road and Highway 401, at about 6:30 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.The incident, first described by police as unknown trouble, drew a heavy police presence and prompted road closures in the area.
Toronto paramedics said they assessed three people at the scene, only one of whom was transported to hospital.
