The actress who played young Leia in Obi-Wan Kenobi has shared her thoughts on a possible season 2 and her own spin-off Star Wars show.
Vivien Lyra Blair, the young Leia Organa star from Obi-Wan Kenobi, has opened up on the possibility of both season 2 and her own Star Wars spin-off series. After being completely absent from the marketing for the Disney+ show, the introduction of young Leia was a stroke of genius by Lucasfilm. Most expected the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi to center on the titular Jedi protecting young Luke Skywalker, almost forgetting that Anakin had two children worthy of Obi-Wan's protection.
And I think I would love to [return for Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2] but I was saying like, I don’t see how I would fit into it, because it’s very implied that she doesn’t see him again until she asked for help in the fourth movie, 'A New Hope.' And so, I think it’s kind of like, how would I fit into that? And so we’re kind of hoping for my own show there. We’re kind of thinking it could be fun to do a show of Leia on Alderaan. And I really hope something like that could work out.
