JOHN'S, N.L. — The Newfoundland and Labrador High School Short Film Festival is returning for its second edition this year, with a virtual presentation scheduled from March 20-23.
The first edition of the festival, founded by Paul Pope, saw 51 entries from across the region, with some filmmakers as young as 10 years old participating. A panel of judges, including Mary Sexton, Gerry Rogers, Veronica Dymond and Justin Wiseman, will choose the winners in each category.
