The flashbacks to the Clone Wars in Ahsoka episode 5 are among the best moments of the entire series, if not the best.
In a video shared by Star Wars, Greenblatt discusses that she not only watched the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series to prepare for her role, but she also had it on in the background while she got ready for rehearsals. Because of the twist of her Ahsoka technically having the mind of older Ahsoka, Greenblatt also watched Dawson perform her role on set. The younger actress studied Dawson's dialogue and mannerisms to accurately bring them to life.
For now, there is still plenty of other live-action Star Wars planned for Ahsoka. While Ahsoka season 2 is still up in the air, Dave Filoni's upcoming The Mandalorian-era movie is expected to heavily feature Ahsoka in the fight against Grand Admiral Thrawn - despite the fact she's currently stranded on Peridea.
