Here are today\u0027s Ottawa Sun letters to the editor.

I have read so many well-written letters to the editor over the past few months related to Justin Trudeau’s handling of Canadian affairs at home and abroad. Most are embarrassed by his diplomatic failures abroad and utter failures at home. Publicized disputes with foreign leaders and, at home, a failing economy and dollar are among many other voter concerns.

How many drank the Kool-Aid on his $4-billion housing announcement? That is not enough to build places for those he let into the country this month alone. How can the government keep adding new housing for new immigrants when tax-paying citizens like myself and my family, who are literally homeless, cannot get a home? I think that they should start thinking more about us and less about votes and money.

We were currently residing in Ayr, Ont., and had to vacate in August. We have been left homeless as most homes are only accepting professionals or new immigrants who are offering up to five months’ rent, which is ridiculous.SNC-Lavalin has just announced that, after a decade of underperformance and with the stench of scandals hanging over it, it has decided to rebrand the company under the new name AtkinsRéalis.

In related news, after almost a decade of underperformance and with the stench of scandals hanging over it, during the recent caucus retreat, the Liberal party also considered a rebranding. The motion was defeated however, when members realized that a significant percentage of the population is still uninformed, apathetic and entitled, and that providing a few more inflation-inducing “incentive” or “rebate” payouts could still be their pathway to victory in 2024-2025.
