Am I alone in wondering why the police departments that allocate a lot of resources to make sure no one speeds, everyone wears a seatbelt and drives safe, etc., etc., don’t apply the same policy when it comes to catching guns and gang members, human smugglers, rapists and lots of other criminal activities?It’s not just the drugged, drunk and distracted drivers that cause all the safety issues on our roadways, it’s also the overgrown weeds.
Our roadways are anything but safe in so many ways; it seems drivers have to fend for themselves. Our provincial flower, the trillium, is being overtaken by the multitude of weeds we see today.
