There was a recent headline about Trudeau passing the torch of the Liberal party to his son, Xavier, at the ASEAN summit. Call it introducing generation Trudeau Three . Horrors! So, what, exactly, was Sonny’s official role on this international grand tour? Answer: decoration. And how much did his accommodations, meals and security detail cost us stupid saps back home here in unaffordable housing? Trust that dollar amount to be deeply hidden and questionable. Certainly mainstream media are not raising the issue.Article content
I don’t have any more faith in this inquiry than I did the Emergencies Act inquiry. Unfortunately, the trust in anyone named by the Liberal government is going to be nil in my books. I would be more believing of someone who was chosen by the opposition parties.
