Choo choo – Burnaby Central Railway will open March 29.

As the weather warms up, it's time for miniature enthusiasts to hie their way out to North Burnaby and ride the rails of a one-eighth-scale model train.

You can ride a hand-crafted mini steam train on a two-mile, 10-minute excursion through the woods, complete with bridges, tunnels, crossovers and spirals, according to the society's website.
