As an independent community-based organization, this is not the first time in its three decades of service that it has had to fundraise to keep operating. But with calls quadrupling during the COVID pandemic, more help is needed to meet the demand.“We have always had to secure funding to keep our organization going, whether that's through other funding partners or fundraising,” said Matthews."So we're certainly no stranger to this.
“They make great stocking stuffer ideas,” said Matthews. “You can slip them into your holiday greeting cards for your friends and family. For businesses and organizations, they make great staff Christmas gifts or volunteer appreciation gifts. So buy as many as you want or can, and we'll hook you up.”The “reverse” part of the 50-50 draw is the pot is spread over 52 weekly draws throughout the year.
