Yager, who captained Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship, learned invaluable lessons from Crosby's leadership style. 'He's one of the best, if not the best, players to ever play the game,' Yager said of Crosby. 'You get a kid that comes in and he's talking to you like you're just another one of the boys.
For him to treat people the way he treats people is unbelievable.' Yager is now looking to apply those lessons as Canada faces Czechia in the quarterfinals.
