WWE has a new top draw, one who no one saw coming.
One of the reasons why the 24/7 title has become one of the best things about WWE's programming and a"runaway success" is that
in regards to the booking of the title, instead giving its superstars some creative freedom to make the 24/7 title chase more interesting. The other main reason is, well, R-Truth.
As soon as the 24/7 title was introduced last month, there was immediate speculation that the new championship wouldAnd rightfully so. WWE is already over-saturated with titles, so the thought was that the addition of a new one would be just too much for the creative team to handle. However, the great work of R-Truth, in addition to stars like Carmella, Mahal and Maverick, has turned what could have been a colossal failure into a huge hit for WWE.
What's interesting is that R-Truth, long considered to be a talented but overlooked star who WWE probably viewed as a lower card worker, seems to be drawing in a way that no one else can. Back in 2016, the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported on Twitter that Brock Lesnar and John Cena were WWE's biggest draws, which is something that probably still holds true even today.
WWE, of course, spent much of the past several years putting all of its eggs in the Roman Reigns basket, attempting to establish"The Big Dog" as the heir apparent to Cena and Lesnar. However,
