They are loving the program, and in return, I am loving reliving some great moments from my past 10 years with Cantabile.”“One of the pieces we’ll be singing Saturday night has this great line – ‘music and singing have been my refuge, and music and singing shall be my light.
“I was singing with the First Baptist Church Choir in 1979 when I first came to Truro,” Bell, a former Truro medical doctor, recalled. “In 1981 I happened to find a brochure that was advertising a choir. Jeff Joudrey was the conductor. I had known Jeff years earlier, so I decided to get involved. I recall ‘that at first’ there were 15 women and no men. Another memory that still stands out – I remember Jeff’s enthusiasm, from the very beginning he had a lot of good plans, he had a vision.
