A massive indoor go-kart racing course, advertised as the “world’s largest” of its kind, announced plans for a grand opening on Dec. 16, officials said.
Supercharged Entertainment, which owns a go-karting track in Wrentham, Massachusetts, announced plans in August to open aStephen Sangermano, Supercharged Entertainment’s president, said the Edison location is the “world’s best” karting and entertainment venue. “We’re beyond thrilled to show all of New Jersey, and New York and Pennsylvania too, all the exhilarating and insane fun our Edison venue has to offer,” Sangermano said.The Edison location on Route 1 South is a 131,000-square-foot facility on a 16-acre complex, Supercharged Entertainment said. It will also feature an axe throwing station, two-story arcade and virtual reality area along with a restaurant and two bars, among other attractions.
Malcolm Jones, general manager of the facility in Massachusetts, said in August that the “owners are always looking to do things bigger and better.”. A five-race bundle costs $125. A 60-minute session for axe throwing is $28 per person.
