WORLD CUP: Morocco puts up brave fight against France
It was practically a home game for Morocco and the team fed off the energy of the crowd in a match that easily felt as though it was being played in Casablanca, Fez, Tangier or Marrakesh.

Mbappe got the ball back and took another shot, which hit defender Achraf Dari and bounced towards Hernandez, who hammered a shot into the ground past goalkeeper Yassine Bounou. Saiss did not look good allowing Giroud to get past him and, moments later, the reason was revealed as Saiss had to be substituted off injured after 20 minutes.
