WorkSafeBC is investigating a crane incident in Victoria that led to two people being taken to the hospital on Saturday morning.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to a crane incident in the 600 block of Herald Street on Sept. 7, 2024.
“WorkSafeBC has launched an investigation. The purpose of our investigation is to identify the cause of the incident, and any contributing factors, so that similar incidents can be prevented from happening in the future,” WorkSafe said to CHEK in an email.BC Emergency Health Services says two ambulances with primary care paramedics, an ambulance with advanced care paramedics and a supervisor attended the scene.
Victoria Police also attended the scene but as there was no criminality involved, it is not involved in the investigation.
